About CDM

The University of New Mexico Center for Disaster Medicine established in 1989 by UNM Chancellor Dr. Paul Roth. The organization has grown exponentially and now serves the University, the State of New Mexico, and the nation with a three-part mission of service, education, and research.

The University of New Mexico Center for Disaster Medicine is part of the Pre-Hospital and Disaster Medicine section of the Department of Emergency Medicine at UNM. We are located on the north campus in the Innovation, Discovery and Training Complex, a state-of-the-art teaching, research, and administrative complex.
