Biography

I’ve been faculty at UNM since 2006. It is extremely rewarding to practice both Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine as part of one of the largest EM/CCM groups in the country. On a given week I may be attending in our Trauma/ Surgical ICU, Neurosciences ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, or Emergency Department. EM physicians are a key component of the multidisciplinary approach to critical care anywhere in the hospital, and I’m privileged to advocate for our growing CCM subspecialty.
