Biography:

Albuquerque is home for me. I love the people, the culture, the climate, the food.   There truly is no place like New Mexico...and I have lived a lot of places over the years.  After high school, I left home to play volleyball at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. That decision led me to a 6 year stint in the Air Force as an intelligence officer.  I got to do amazing things and go to remarkable places, but knew that I always wanted to be a physician.  This led me back home to New Mexico, where I finished several undergraduate pre-requisite courses while working as an EMT until I was accepted to UNM school of medicine.   After finishing residency in emergency medicine at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN, I will be returning home to do an EMS fellowship focusing on rural and tribal medicine.
