Biography
I have had the good fortune to call many places home. I grew up mostly in Idaho. I enjoyed skiing, hiking and mountain biking in Utah during my undergraduate education and completed a master’s degree at Kent, OH. My first postgraduate job prompted a move to New Mexico where the beauty of the skies and mountains captured my heart. After a career in speech language pathology, I returned to medical school at UNM in 2005. I was happy to join the faculty at UNM in 2012. I serve as the education coordinator for residents, physician assistant students, and medical students at Sandoval Regional Medical Center. I work with the medical school providing coaching and training for medical students through the professional development program.Teaching Interests
