I consider myself native New Mexican (since I was 3 years old when my family moved to Albuquerque) and am excited to be home after being away for 16 years. I completed my Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship in Denver, CO, and accepted a position in San Antonio, TX where I practiced for many years. In 2013, I was given the opportunity to return to New Mexico and am thrilled to be a part of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. I am the Program Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship program and have had the pleasure of working closely with highly motivated, caring, and bright Emergency Medicine Residents and Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellows. My husband of 30 years, our three daughters, and I are absolutely thrilled to be back home. Outside of medicine, my passion is spending time with my family, enjoying New Mexico's incredible outdoors, and playing with our dogs and horses.
