Emergency Medicine Research

Our mission is to have a model resident research experience, to develop a core of emergency medicine physician-scientists engaged in the Clinical and Translational Science Center and the HSC’s Signature Research Programs, to establish a fiscally self-sufficient emergency medicine clinical trials program, and to contribute to an emergency medicine research consortium that combines the strengths of southwestern institutions to conduct large, multi-site research projects.
